Hope you all enjoyed the season. Well done to the Wanderers. Feel free to call them all tossers behind their backs.

They are the champions
Hearty congratulations to the Wanderers, who roundly stuffed the Brewers this week to confirm their status as champions. Hopefully the league link will now work, but let me know if not. The end of season bash will be announced soon, and will of course take place at the Emmbrook Inn, seeing as they are deserved champions. I couldn't honestly give a shit if you don't bother sending me your results this week, or for the next two. Nobody really cares!
All over bar the shouting
Well, the results are in and the Wanderers proved their quality with resounding successes over both the Jolly AND the Queen's Head in the same week. With 3 points guaranteed for their final fixture against the Brams, and the Elephant sadly succumbing to the Bell & Bottle, last year's champions are now cruising to victory, and need only a victory against the Brewers this evening to officially retain their crown. Obviously there's no chance on God's green earth we have any intention of letting this happen. Rest assured, the knives will be out! (Literally, if necessary.) Meanwhile the Brewers turned up to the Hope & Anchor with a depleted team of seven last week, but still ran roughshod over them for a comprehensive 3-0 win. What fun. The Jolly saw off the Frog & Wicket 2-1 but now have to win all their remaining fixtures 3-0 and hope for miracles from other teams just to tie with the leaders. Good luck with that!
Here are the results, and league table. Wish us luck this evening. May the force be with us.
Week 19
Jolly 2 - 1 Frog
Wanderers 3 - 0 Queen's Head
Dog 0 - 3 Norreys
Hope 0 - 3 Brewers
Brams 0 - 3 Pheasant (forfeit)
Bell 2 - 1 Elephant

Where's Derren when you need him?

Here are all the scores I have from the last two weeks. Sadly some teams have been a bit remiss in sending me their results so there are a couple of gaps. Also the Bramshill Hunt have now officially dropped out after struggling to get a team together all season. Shame. Any teams yet to play them will obviously receive 3 points for a forfeit. At the sharp end of the table, meanwhile, the Wanderers tightened their grip on proceedings with a 3-0 drubbing of the Hope & Anchor, whilst all their nearest rivals dropped at least one leg to their opponents. However, last week's crunch match between the Wanderers and the Jolly Farmer was postponed, and will quite possibly take place tonight. With the Queen's Head eagerly awaiting them on Wednesday night, this next two days will be make or break for our current leaders.
Here, then, are the results. Don't forget to click here to view the league table. I know there are a couple of missing results, but it's only the lower-placed teams so, frankly, who gives a shit?

Rain stopped play
Woefully few results in this week, mainly due to teams not reporting in. The Brewers braved the elements - and the cauldron that is Norreys Barn - and we were rewarded for our efforts by being drubbed 3-0. Bit harsh. The crucial match between two of the big guns - the Wanderers and the Bell & Bottle - was postponed due to the weather but will hopefully take place very soon. Also wimping out were the Elephant and the Frog & Wicket, leaving the Jolly Farmer to take the bull by the horns with a 2-1 win over the Hope & Anchor. This leaves them as, once again, provisional leaders, as you can see from the table. Sadly I have no idea about the other results or whether the other teams even played. Perhaps their carrier pigeons were struck by lightning.
